On September 24, 2009, I am leaving Houston for London and a weekend with my daughter Pamela and her husband Paul. Friday, when I arrive will be her birthday. On Sunday I will take a train to Edinburgh to start a five week consulting assignment.
In the past, I have kept records of my travels and in recent years have posted my observations on a forum sponsored by my high school. (Yes, I graduated some 45 years ago, but the world-wide web has turned out to be a very interesting tool for restoring old acquaintances). Still, I don't want to burden that relatively small audience, and I'd be curious to see if there is wider interest in such things.
I have been told that I can write in an entertaining fashion, but it's going to take me a while to get comfortable with this medium. I ask the reader's indulgence.
